The GCA Social Club is a Members Bar that opened on 1st March 1990, along with the newly refurbished Ballroom & Foyer area.

The official opening was 9th June 1990, a ceremony by Princess Anne.

The Gosport Community Association is possibly better known as Thorngate Halls and is situated in Bury Road, Gosport. We welcome everybody to join in our many activities, be it Club, Group, Education or Social.

There is always something interesting and challenging to do, so why not come along and pursue a wide range of activities.

Anyone who becomes a member of the Gosport Community Association is entitled to use the Members Lounge located at the front of the complex. Those who are not members of the Association may still use the lounge if they are accompanied by a full member and are signed in.

The Social Club is a relaxing bar where members can enjoy a drink in comfort.

There is a Committee who organise all the Entertainment staged in the bar along with a Friday Meat Raffle and Sunday Beer & Wine Raffle
