NATIONAL BLOOD TRANSFUSION SERVICE

The Gosport Community Association are pleased to support the work of the National Blood Transfusion Service by providing facilities for regular Donor Sessions held at the Centre, Donor Sessions are usually held 1.30 to 3.30 and 4.30 to 7pm in the Thorngate Ballroom.

CIVIL SERVICE PENSIONERS ALLIANCE GOSPORT CENTRAL GROUP
(Wednesday - monthly)
The aim of the Alliance is to operate as a pressure group to protect the interests of retired Civil Servants. It is, in fact the only body re-organised by the Treasury as representing Civil Servants across the board. The Alliance is not affiliated to any political party or trade union.We hold a coffee morning’s at Thorngate Hall on the third Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to Midday We have a short business meeting followed by a guest speaker, usually with slides or a video. We also have an energetic social committee which arranges day trips, theatre outings and holidays. New members are most welcome.

Rotary International is a world-wide organisation of business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian services to the community at local, national and international level, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and work for goodwill and peace in the world. There are Clubs in 187 Countries and world-wide Membership exceeds 1.1 million. This year our President is Mr Clive Evans. The Gosport Club meet every other Thursday for lunch at Thorngate Halls and on occasions an evening Meeting to which visitors and guests are invited.

The Club serves the whole area of the Borough of Gosport and is established to improve the quality of life of people who have suffered strokes, by providing social, recreational and therapeutic activities.
We promote and maintain close relationships with all members, relatives of members, and organisations interested in Stroke sufferers and their welfare. We meet each Friday at 3.00 p.m. in the Privett Suite.
