Beginners will learn simple perspective arid shading before learning to paint. Topics covered include Still Life and landscape with abstract work for the m
ore experienced. Any medium is encouraged from pencil to water colour, acrylics and oils. Sketching outdoors is something to look forward to in the summer months.
All you need to start this course is an A3 size sketch pad, a B grade pencil and an eraser. Students will be given basic instruction with demonstrations.
Learn to paint and draw in a friendly atmosphere. Complete beginners are welcome in this mixed ability

Don’t miss out on this structured course for students who want to learn the techniques of drawing and painting. This course is for beginners as well as the experienced painter, who are also welcome.
Composition and perspective are an integral part of the course with step by step instruction which will be given to new students and to those who need it.
Subjects covered are Autumn Landscape, Buildings, Still-life and
Greetings cards. Mediums used are oils, acrylics and water-colours.

This Art Club was started in 1990 to provide a meeting place for all those interested in painting and drawing in any media. It is a flourishing club whose members are enthusiastic. A wide-ranging programme of painting/drawing themes is arranged on a fortnightly basis for those who prefer the discipline of a programme.
Meetings are held every Wednesday afternoon 1.30-- 3.30 pin.
